The Zipwhip Switchboard is a stand-alone web application that you can use to view and monitor all of your accounts. The Switchboard and the Zipwhip Web Application are different programs. However, you use the same phone number/username and password to log-in to the Switchboard and the Web App.
When you log-in to Switchboard, you can open any of the accounts to which you are assigned as either an Administrator or Operator. When you click an Account Contact Card, that account opens in a separate browser window. Opening an account from Switchboard is equivalent to logging-in to that account directly from the Zipwhip log-in page. After you log in, you can see your username in the upper-right corner of the page. Next to your username is the Log Out command.
When you open the Switchboard, the default view displays all of the Account Contact Cards of accounts to which you are assigned. If there are more account cards than can be seen/viewed in a single page-view, then a scroll bar appears on the right side of the Switchboard. If you resize the Switchboard by decreasing the width, then the account cards “stack” and a scroll bar appears on the right side.
You can filter the default view to see only those accounts with unread messages. You can also search for a specific account by name or phone number. As you type numbers or letters in the Search box, the account cards that do not match close until only the account card you want remains visible. If there is no match for your search string, then all of the cards close and a “no accounts found” message appears.
You can open any of the accounts that appear in the Switchboard by clicking on the contact card.
