New contacts can be added to your account from either the web or desktop applications. Currently, this is not a feature option in the iOS and Android mobile apps.
Contacts can be added quickly from the New Text box in either the web or desktop apps by simply typing the phone number and first and last name of the contact and tabbing or clicking out of the "type name and phone number" field. The system will automatically recognize the new contact information.
New Contacts can also be added form the New Contact window accessible from the Zipwhip drop down menu in the upper left hand corner of the web app.
